If  you want to go tubing or canoeing on the Niobrara River this is a place you may want to start.  They will suggest that you take the following items with you:

• Appropriate clothing (you may want to cover up after a couple of hours of sun so that you don’t get burned.)
• Water container, so that you do not get dehydrated.
• Food (in water tight containers)
• Shoes for wading (not sandals)
• First Aid kit
• Sun Lotion

• First, if it has been awhile since your last river trip or if this is your first time, please let us know and we will give you lessons on river safety.
• Please be kind to other people and property on the river. We want to be able to provide this beautiful scenery for generations to come.
• As a rule canoes typically hold 2 adults, but if you have children or an odd number in your group this can be changed.
• Please do not try to overload canoes or drag them on the ground.
• While canoeing down river always keep your canoe parallel with the current. This way you are less likely to tip your canoe.
• Watch for some of the landmarks that are on your map so that you will know where your Take Out point is located.
• When you see your Take Out point, you want to come in parallel to the bank. DO NOT HIT nose first.

All of these things will help you have a great time on the trip.  You will be able to rent the items you need for the rafting or canoeing experience at this location.
