The Niobrara River offers wonderful rafting opportunities for not only the beginner on the more mellow portions of the river but a challenge for the experienced rafter further down the river where the rapids give a more exciting ride.  You can canoe, raft of kayak on the river and have memories that will last a lifetime and make you want to come back time and again.

You will see wonderful wildlife, plants and beautiful waterfalls while going down the river.

The Voyager, which is one of the options for those that want to enjoy the river with a guide, allows you to absorb or photograph your surroundings without fear of ruining equipment, taking an unexpected swim, or just missing out because you were dodging obstacles. You’ll be guided down a portion of the gently flowing river valley where six ecosystems converge and created its rarity

• Trips can be customized to fit the needs of the client.

• The river depth will determine the length of the season of the voyager.

• The Voyager can be rented per person or per group. There is a minimum fee that applies to the rental.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS

Bring your own water container, shoes suitable for wading, rain suit, cltohg to protect you from sunburn and of course, the first aid kit.

Do not overload your canoe or drag them on the ground.  They are made for the water.  When beaching a canoe, pull in parallel with the bank.

Do not hit the bank nose first.  Always try to keep the canoe straight with the current in rough water.

Portage rockey ford, do not take canoes or tubes through Rock Dam!

Life jackets are for wearing, not sitting on!

Tube rentals all begin at Berry Bridge.  The cost runs at: $30 for one, $48 for 2, $54 for a 3 man tube.

These rates are for the day.  There is an $8 charge for a cooler tube.

Kayak rentals for the day are $32.

There is a deposit requirement of 50% when the reservations are made to assure the equipment you want is available for you.

There are no rainy day refunds but you can get a "rain check" to be used on another day before the end of summer.

Canoe rental is $52.00 for a 1 day trip; $78.00 for a two day trip and remember there are only 2 people per canoe allowed. Children 6 and under are free with an adult.
