The Museum contains treasures of life in Lincoln County, including period room settings, china, quilts, fashions, furniture, a doctor’s office, telephone office, post office, beauty shop, DAR collection, natural history, a model railroad, railroad history and lots of photographs.

For 51 months, 24 hours per day, throughout World War II, the citizens of this area met every U.S. Military train, providing food, treats, and hospitality to an astounding 2-3 thousand soldiers per day! The Canteen is a tribute to the spirit, generosity and faithfulness of these amazing people.

The Frank and Fred Leu Memorial Wing was added in 1993. It now contains 4 mounted longhorn steers, a buffalo, and western art and photographs.
